Chase has been picking up on phrases lately and it is quite funny to hear him say certain things. Here was our conversation at the dinner table tonight:
Chase: "Momma, I need jelly (actually butter) for my potato".
Me: "Ok..here you go. Use your spoon to scoop it".
Chase: "What? No that won't work...I need that!". (Points to a knife)
I then handed him the butter knife and he replied, "This will do the trick!".
Never heard that one before..it caught us off guard and cracked us up. Thing about that...once we laugh, he repeats it over and over and over.........
